Steel Backed Bronze Bushings

In the 1960s, Glacier of the UK developed the steel-backed, sintered-bronze PTFE-lined DU bearing. Similarly, our DU bearings are designed for use in dry and semi-lubricated environments, making them an excellent substitute for conventional bearings where space savings are essential. The DU Steel-Backed Bushing delivers outstanding shock and impact load resistance, while the Steel-Backed PTFE-Lined bushing features a low coefficient of friction, allowing for operation without lubrication in high-load, low-speed applications, all with exceptional wear resistance.
