Selbsteinstellende Keramik-Kugellager

Selbstausrichtende Keramikkugellager verwenden Keramikkugeln und müssen nur minimal eingestellt werden. Es wird am häufigsten bei Anwendungen eingesetzt, die ein Lager mit einem großen Drehwinkel (mehr als 10000 Grad) erfordern, sowie bei Anwendungen, bei denen eine schnelle Bewegung erforderlich ist (eine Umdrehung pro Minute).

Der Innenring kann sich frei drehen, aber der Außenring kann sich aufgrund der Interferenz zwischen diesem Halterungsteil und den Laufbahnen des Außenrings nicht axial bewegen. Diese Art von Lagern benötigt nur sehr wenig zusätzlichen Spielraum für Schmiermittel, um die Reibung zu verringern.
